NZ GUIDE: TOP PLACES TO EAT IN AUCKLAND

You may have noticed we’ve done a fair bit of travelling recently, so we’re going to make this ‘Travel Guide’ thing and bit of a thing on our site. Welcome to our NZ Guide: Top Places to Eat in Auckland! Last week Bec and I hopped on a plane and headed over to our brother-from-another-mother, and sister-country New Zealand! It was our first time across the Aus – NZ pond and we were lucky enough to be in attendance as the New Zealand Fashion Week Official International Delegates. We didn’t get much time to ourselves over the week as it was […]

GREECE GUIDE: SOME OF THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN ATHENS

Welcome to our last Greece Guide! Here we’re telling you some of the best things to get up to while you’re in Athens. We don’t know why everyone gives Athens a bad wrap, because it’s seriously one of our favourite cities in the world! It’s this awkward blend of ancient, 90’s grunge and Gen Y hipster that makes you feel muddled-up but totally inspired to get lost in the little streets and alleyways. If you have been under a rock and havn’t read our other Greece Guides, we suggest you do – because they’re pretty awesome and showcase some of the […]

GREECE GUIDE: SOME OF THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN SANTORINI

Ahh, probably the most requested ‘Greece Guide’ we have had so far! And who could you blame? Santorini is one of the most instagrammable and popular locations of everyones Euro ’18 trip. Santorini is one of the most well-known Greek island, and visited by millions of tourists every year (a whopping 2mil were recorded for visiting in 2017 alone!) and isn’t yet losing it’s beautiful charm and Greek charisma. However if you’re planning to travel to Santorini we would highly suggest looking at visiting during an off-peak period (September-May) as you’ll find the experience much more relaxing and enjoyable. Bec and I […]

GREECE GUIDE: SOME OF THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN MILOS

Let’s preface by saying that Milos is not your party island, or even a ‘bar-hopping’ kind of island. It’s a piece of essentially untouched Greek heaven that is more geared towards ‘rancho-relaxo‘ than anything else. The beaches are a solid 10/10 but the island itself does lack the touristy, fun feel you get from other islands such as Paros (as we mentioned in our Greece Guide: Top Things to do in Paros) and Santorini. But hey, it’s definitely an up-and-coming island and can almost guarantee that in a couple of years time it’ll be where Paros is now in terms of […]

GREECE GUIDE: SOME OF THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN PAROS

One of the up-and-comming Greek islands that has totally stolen our hearts is Paros! Located in the Aegean ocean and a part of the famous ‘Cyclades’ islands, Paros is located just to the west of Naxos. Two of the main areas of the island which are great for tourists and are the most populated are Paros Town (Parikia) and Naousa, which is located to the north-east side of the island. Now if you read our Greece Guide: Some of the best things to do in the Ionian Islands, you would have read us talk about how different the Ionian Islands […]

GREECE GUIDE: SOME OF THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN THE IONIAN ISLANDS

If you’ve been following along on our Greece 18′ journey you’d be happy to know that WE LOVED THE IONIAN ISLANDS. Like, we’re utterly obsessed and already planning to go back ASAP. Bec and I have previously visited Kefalonia and Zakynthos in 2016, but this year ventured out into areas we hadn’t been before, in addition to visiting the island of Lefakada (or Lefkas) which is one of the largest of the Ionion islands. If you’re a Greek island rookie like we were, and think that all Greek islands are white with blue rooftops and have cute little beaches – you’d […]

PFW TRAVEL ESSENTIALS WITH COLETTE

Nothing says ‘smart traveller’ like thinking ahead. Lucky for you, we’ve done the thinking for you and put together some pieces from Colette by Colette Hayman that we believe are essentials for your travels, especially if it’s for fashion week. The Bowler Bag (aka. the Mary Poppins carry-it-all bag) Okay, this is a travel essential for us for a reason you may not think. You’re probably assuming ‘Oh it’s a great carry-on piece for the aeroplane.’  Well although that is true, for us this counts as our extra suitcase for on the way home. If you’re like us, when you come to […]

A NIGHTS GETAWAY AT DOUBLETREE

A night away at the DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne was just what Bec and I needed after a busy week of work! Situated right in the heart of the Melbourne CBD (literally overlooking the iconic Flinders St Station via Flinders St) we were welcomed with open arms, welcome cookies and a beautifully bright room. After settling ourselves in, and of course taking as many photos as humanly possible, we set off for dinner at the Platform 270 restaurant situated on the ground floor. Bec would like me to mention in this post that the Prawn Linguini she had for dinner was “The […]

KEFALONIA TRAVEL DIARIES

It seems like forever and a day ago we were off on our adventure to Greece, but looking through all our photos this week had us feeling the Greek sun on our skin and smelling the faint smells of the ocean. As we’re Greek, Greece holds a special place in our hearts. Not necessarily because it’s the most beautiful place in the world (I mean..have you seen Athens? Having ‘character’ is one way you could describe it), but because we actually believe it is the most beautiful place in the world. I know you’re thinking, ‘that doesn’t make sense girls..’ […]

NYFW WRAP UP

Well our first New York Fashion Week experience is well and truely done, and now that the dust has settled we can give you the scoop on what really is one of the most ‘Hyped-Up’ fashion events around. That is not to say that it didn’t live up to all of our expectations – but I think we just made it more than what it really was. If you’ve been lucky enough to go to a Fashion Week anywhere in the world, you would be glad to know that when it comes to the NYFW shows (although slightly larger and […]
