#SHOPTHELOOK WITH MARKS & SPENCER

#ShopTheLook with Marks & Spencer featuring some of our favourite knits to keep you snuggly warm as we’re moving into the cooler months!

If you’re from Melbourne like us, you’ll be aware that we’ve been hit by the cold stick much earlier than previous years (although I feel like we say that every year to be honest). But seriously, it’s getting too cold for our liking – not because we don’t like the cooler months, but because we’ve been late in getting all our knitwear pieces. Getting our wardrobe ready for the cooler months is something that so many of us put off. We personally think it’s because everyone is in denial about it getting cold and gloomy – well, it is for us at least!

Some of our favourite ‘top’ and knitwear styles recently have been the fitted, long-sleeve types and the oversized types. Generally Bec and I are the first to run away from anything fitted. Purely because we’re quite busty, it can draw attention to areas we’d rather keep nice and modest. However, we’re finding that we can bring some fitted knitwear pieces into our wardrobe and wear it with the right outfit so it creates a well-balanced look. The same goes for an all-oversized look like Bec is wearing. By creating some depth to her look with layers, and a pop of colour, an oversized (and potentially) frumpy outfit looks really London-chic!

Havn’t got onto your winter knit shop yet? Fret not! We have found some of the most budget-friendly, luxe pieces available on the market from www.marksandspencerlondon.com.au that will take you from feeling cool, to looking cool. Scroll below for our looks, plus more of our favourites.
