The ultimate lazy-girls guide to wearing your sleepwear outside.

[one_third][/one_third][one_third]How do you wear your sleepwear outside you ask? Simple! Act like it’s not sleepwear, and that it was designed to be worn outside. These days you could wear a fluffy robe outside and no one is really going to notice. Okay…maybe if the fluffy robe is hot pink like ours, you’ll get a couple of weird looks, but you definitely wont be in these Grana Sleepwear pieces.

Styling sleepwear is all about seeing them as separates, not as a set. Although, I’ve seen loads of girls rock the ‘silky-sleepewear-set’ style amazingly, for your everyday look seeing your sleepwear as separates will help make them blend effortlessly into your outfit. Style the silk camisole with a pair of black skinny jeans and leather jacket for a tough-girl (just-chucked-this-on) kinda vibe, or style the silky shorts with a crisp white shirt and blazer for the ultimate cool-girl outfit. Or like the below, play with layering and textures of fabrics to create an effortless look.

Now, some pieces really, really look like pj’s. There is no point trying to make your Peter Alexander cloud pj’s look cool for outside wear… it just ain’t going to happen. Focus on purchasing pieces in silks or slinky fabrics as they look less ‘homey’ and more luxe. Also while I’m speaking on fabrics, think about the colour you’re going to purchase too. Probably best to leave the hot pink printed set at home. Instead, go for simple colour schemes that you can work into your everyday outfits.

If you want to make your outfit look more fancy, and less sleepwear – style it up with some bold accessories. Think gold and silver hardware, tough leather jackets and sky-high stilettos (or boots, sneakers, etc etc..). Once you’ve styled the outfit with the right accessories, no one will even think of asking if you “rolled out of bed in that”..even though you really did 😉
